Dr. Selin Ozbudak-Erdem serves as the Vice President of Student Affairs at Maharishi International University, where she is committed to creating a student experience that is supportive, engaging, and centered on student engagement and success. She oversees a wide range of student services, including enrollment services, student experience, academic advising and student success, residential life, career services, accessibility services, international student support, and student well-being.
Originally from Istanbul, Türkiye, Dr. Ozbudak-Erdem came to MIU in 2010 as a graduate student and joined the university in 2013. Throughout her career, she has served in leadership roles across enrollment management, the Registrar’s Office, and Student Affairs, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the student journey.
She earned her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Transformational Leadership and Coaching from MIU. Her leadership is guided by a passion for helping students grow academically, personally, and professionally while fostering a campus culture of belonging, collaboration, and holistic development.
Together with the Student Affairs team, she strives to create a welcoming community where students can grow, build meaningful connections, and make the most of their experience at MIU.
