The International Student Services Office supports MIU’s international students and scholars throughout their journey at the university.
Our mission is to provide expert immigration advising, promote regulatory compliance, and offer programs and resources that support academic success, intercultural engagement, and a welcoming campus community.
From preparing for your arrival and attending orientation to maintaining your immigration status and navigating life in the United States, our team is here to help you feel informed, prepared, and supported.
International students should contact a Designated School Official (DSO) in the International Student Services Office whenever they have questions about their F-1 status, immigration documents, employment authorization, travel, or other matters that may affect their status.

At Maharishi International University, our office ensures compliance with the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Program. Our office issues Form I-20, and provides guidance on CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, travel, and change of status procedures. We also collect and prepare supporting documents for USCIS filings and coordinates with campus departments to support every aspect of the international student experience.
