Maggie Ventsias has been at MIU since 2014, earning her BA and MA in Art and her BFA and MFA in Creative Writing. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University. She is also a Certified Transcendental Meditation Instructor working with the MIU TM Center to support students in their practice of TM.
Maggie was a Residential Hall Director for eight years, Dean of Students for five years, and accepted the Director of Academic Advising in 2026. Her business management background and people skills helped prepare her throughout her career here at MIU.
