Local Supports and Resources

Students seeking assistance with substance abuse issues are strongly encouraged to visit privately with MIU’s Director of Personal Support Services, on-staff Licensed Counselor, Campus Nurse, or any other member of our Student Life team. We will direct you to the appropriate resources.

Local resources include the following services (listed below). They are not affiliated with MIU, but are listed on this web page as a convenience for MIU students. Being listed does not imply that MIU is endorsing them, and it is up to the student to decide whether to participate in any one of them.

If you would like help finding or connecting to a resource, please email Rachael at personalsupport@miu.edu.
