Lydia Hickman
Lydia earned her BFA in Creative and Professional Writing at MIU and has completed several editing projects for the university. She is a former Writing Consultant with the MIU Writing Center.
Before coming to MIU in 2018, Lydia was an independent contractor cleaning homes for the elderly and disabled while living on her family’s organic homestead in Indiana.
“The primary goal of the Accessibility Officer is to make space for students to feel seen and to facilitate assistance that is valuable to the learning process. I want my students to know that I want them to have the most fruitful experience possible.”
